Servers, robots, and machines without screens
The bare daemon, no desktop app: put it on a box, run corewire init with an enrollment key from your fleet panel, then corewire serve.
This is also what to install where the window will not go: an older Linux, or an Intel Mac, which we build the daemon for and not the app.
Every build is published with a sha256 and an Ed25519-signed manifest — latest.json.
What runs where
Two separate things ship in every install: the window you look at, and the daemon that serves models to the rest of your fleet. They do not have the same requirements, and the difference decides whether an older machine is out or merely headless.

On an older Linux the desktop app is not available, but the daemon runs anywhere. An old machine with a good graphics card is not out: install the headless daemon above, enrol it, and it serves your fleet from a room you walk past, driven from any machine that runs the app.
